How long is too long? The answer is, Long videos it's self are in fact too long. We’re not talking about documentaries or movies here, we’re talking about online videos design to capture your target audiences attention.

If you’re planning to launch an online video channel with loads of original content and are hell bent on maxing out the total duration allotted for your online videos. You better be sure your content has the ability to suck in your audience within 10 to 15 seconds.  Yup! That the average attention span of our online video viewers.

Ever wondered why we love watching trailers? They are all short and snappy, (lasting a maximum of 1 to 2 minutes) mostly have very catchy or emotionally moving music and most of them have a thing we in the video production business like to call an “end tag”. An “End Tag” is the last visual or slide you see on the trailer with the tag line of the movie. Most of the time it’s the logo of the show or the title of the show. So the magic number here is 15 to 30 seconds. If you can’t squeeze all your content into this ridicules duration? Then you’ll have to learn how to do trailers and teasers.
